KL Chan

KL ChanOver 33 years of IT experience worked for a multi-national telecom company in the UK, and a global bank in Hong Kong, KL has begun his mainframe career as a performance analyst, and eventually managed the central systems programming department for a multi-national telecom company in Bletchley, UK. On returning to HK, he has joined a global bank and hence extending his influence worldwide. He has overseen the growth in the use of Open platform and the explosion of applications adopting servers as the power house, directing the Internet Banking infrastructure to meet the ever popular service demand. In driving global common systems, KL has worked extensively with colleagues all over the world delivering a strategy that help eliminate duplicity within the organization. He has also directed a team of strong relationship managers to bring about the global development centre for the bank as well as bringing in many global applications to the Hong Kong data centre.

KL is a strong technical manager who has vast project management experience. He has demonstrated relationship management skills that cut across culture and language barriers. Forward looking and strategic thinking are his trademarks.
