Jay Ng is the Director of Technologies of Spinnaker IT Limited and is primarily responsible for aligning the technology vision which is important to ensure Spinnaker consultants are of full knowledge and experience to assist our clients in setting their business strategy by managing the state of the art technologies in the most cost effective manner while they can take into account of other important success criteria including quality, people and process efficiency in the most efficient way at the same time.
In his last job, Jay had worked in a multinational bank for 22+ years with over 15 years in management positions. He has extensive experiences in the IT industry. In his last position in this company, he was a regional head overseeing the regional enterprise server support services and led a team of 60+ staff to provide infrastructure system and operations support for 200+ mission critical online banking applications.

In his career, Jay has rich and wide exposure on IT data center operations, server infrastructure design and support, data center automation, virtualization, major IT vendor management, budget planning, cost pool management, data center migration, etc. He has lots of successful track records on managing and implementing large and complex infrastructure setup projects including internet banking systems, trade services, branch terminals, etc., all of which require high security standard and almost 100% online availability.

Jay holds a Master Degree in Computer Science and bachelor degrees in Computer Information System and Economics from the University of Oregon.

In his leisure time, Jay is an amateur Chinese Opera composer and singer. He is an active member in the Chinese Opera circle and conducts performance from time to time in Hong Kong.
